Description
Shadgoswami (Six Goswami) refers to the six Goswamis who were Vaishnava devotees, poets and religious preachers. Vrindavan was their work center. The Gaudiya Vaishnava sect, the foundation stone of which was laid by Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, his sangoswamis played a very important role in its maintenance.
