Only those who are fools leave the service of the Guru and consider themselves to be pioneers in spiritual knowledge. To stop such fools, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu presented himself as the ideal disciple. The Guru knows very well how to engage each disciple in a particular task, but if the disciple believes himself to be more intelligent than the Guru and acts independently by not obeying his orders, he puts his spiritual progress in his own hands. Every disciple should consider himself fully aware of Kṛṣṇa science and be always ready to follow the orders of the guru in order to become proficient in Kṛṣṇa consciousness. The disciple should remain a fool before his teacher.
